Just finnished the race here in Vigo and i´m very happy with a 3rd place here finnishing just 1 sec behind Brendan Fairclough and close to the 2nd place.


Weekend has been real fun and riding in the sun was great until it started pissing down rain yesterday afternoon wich made the track a bit different & harder...

There was a lot of top riders this weekend making it feel a bit like a mini-world cup so i didn´t expect to be up there at the podium but i guess my pace is going the right direction. Feels good to improve a bit every weekend.

My runs were pretty dialled just a few small misstakes but mostly i struggled to find the right places to pedal and felt a bit slow in bits but overall super-pumped on how things are going at the moment.


Niklas had a get of and lost his chain so he was well dissapointed finnishing in a 24th place.

Now i´m of to Benicasim for a camp with the Swedish national team and then i will head back home at the end of the week to prepare to fly out for South Africa.

Finnished the dish after our taco-dinner and ready for some sleep here in espana.

Had a day of yesterday but today me & Niklas went on a xc-ride in the mountain here.

We did a few different small downhills on the A.M bikes wich was sick. The ride ended up being 2.5 hours of fun except for the sprints i had planned today wich sucked...

Also checked out the dh-track again today since it had been taped up. Looks good but seems like there are less rocks & rough sections now then when i was here the last time.

Tomorrow track is open for practice the whole day so i´m planning on getting as much riding as i can before all the people show up on saturday.

Must say the season has started of better then i thought it would.

I prettymuch haven´t been on a downhillbike since end of september before going on this trip so i had my mindset that i would take these first few races as practice and to get up to speed but i feel so comfortable on my new ride it has been going a lot better then expected.


First 4th place last weekend and then a good result again in Gouveia both on tracks that shouldn´t fit me very well.

Ended up 2nd place in Elite yesterday in Gouveia but 3rd overall after getting beat by Neko Mullaly in juniors.


Danny was on a bit of a different pace and left me 5 seconds behind in his dust but i´m still pretty happy with the result and i know i had a few mistakes that cost me time so i think i could have closed in a bit but that is how it always is.


Now i´m in Vigo for the week racing their "bike conctest" this weekend on the classic WC-course.

 Lot´s of fast riders will be here this weekend so definetly looking forward on more riding and getting closer to a wc-pace cause there is still plenty of work to do.
